doughnut making day

I joined Sam’s family for their annual doughnut-making day this week. We fried dozens upon dozens of pumpkin, spiced cider, and chocolate doughnuts; we dipped them in glaze, rolled them in cinnamon-sugar, decorated them with sprinkles, or dusted them with powdered sugar. We taste-tested delicious doughnut holes and I decided that the spiced cider variety were my favorite. :)

((Shout out to Teresa: Sam wanted to make sure that you saw the following pictures so that you could understand the extent of the doughnuts you missed out on. I hope you’ll forgive me for carrying this message!))

Ah, doughnut making… that was so much fun. Anybody hungry yet?!

(Well, all but one picture, that is.)
I'm quite impressed with the donut factory! I had no clue the production was that big.
Merry Christmas! Enjoy your time at home. :)
(Oh, does the blog message delivery system work both ways? Because I'm always looking for new ways to send messages to my beloved nephew.....)
