It’s coooold outside! Well, come to think of it, it could be a lot colder. I think it’s the wind that makes it seem so frigid.

Today I took my poor, neglected camera (or maybe it’s happy for the vacation—I can’t decide) and explored a local park as a possible location for an upcoming portrait shoot. (Yes, I’m hoping to share these with you when they occur—stay tuned!) During the spring and summer, when Little League baseball is in session, this park is fairly popular. But it sure is lonely in cold early February.

Lonely swing sets … lonely fall leaves … lonely, forsaken pine cones. My lonely camera fit right in!

But lonely will be the perfect conditions for a portrait shoot. And I found some very promising places to pose!!

  1. Hallie, you have such an amazing eye! These are wonderful. I am especially in love with the lonely swingset shot. I can't wait to see your portrait session.
Next time I visit, can we shoot together? I want to follow you around and maybe I'll learn a bit of your knack for seeing things in such a unique and beautiful way.
