five years

 

August 3 marked five years since my first fluffy orange kitty died. Just a couple weeks ago I learned that his mommy, Junebug, has also passed away at age 17. It felt a little like the end of an era… the end of several generations of mighty orange hunters. I adore my obnoxiously affectionate Thor and infuriatingly sly Loki, but there will always be a special part of my heart reserved for Lenny the Lionheart. :)
