summit Mt. Adams(done August 7, 2012!)- publish a book
- visit every one of the 50 states (so far I've hit Virginia, California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, West Virginia, Illinois, Michigan, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Minnesota, plus D.C.... only 29 to go!)
visit the Holy Land(done May 16-28, 2013)- go on a short-term mission trip
- do a themed 5k, maybe a mud run
participate in a rodeo(done July 2009)- rope a calf (from horseback!)
- visit the nations my ancestors came from--Germany, the Czech Republic, and Norway especially. Or basically just tour Europe.
eat alligator(done September 21, 2012)- go to a horse race and bet on a superfecta
jump into the Columbia River in January(done January 3, 2012)- see the Northern Lights
- eat at the Space Needle
visit Gettysburg(done July 4-5, 2013)take part in the making of a movie(done June 1-2, 2012)go to Bible school(completed May 12, 2013)do the splits(done June 2015 - left split)- meet Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun of the band twenty | one | pilots
- learn to play the guitar
catch a firefly(done July 5, 2013)- write a song
- meet Tom Hiddleston, or at least see him in a live Shakespeare play
- learn Hebrew
visit Pennsylvania in the fall(done October 19-31, 2013)- take an impulsive next-day flight somewhere for a short vacation
- take an acting class (or several!)
- go to seminary
Hmm... is my life going to be long enough for all this??
And I can guarantee you we will be doing a lot of those together!! <3

ReplyDeleteSo your bucket list makes me wonder...are you from the pacific northwest? (because of Mt. Adams) I'm from Portland. My son in law, with his father, tried to summit 3 times, each time had to turn back because of things with his dad...but the experience together, priceless! Also, Prince Edward Island...we hope to go this fall for my first time. My ancestors were some of the first settlers of the island! I'm here from Katie Lloyd's...so glad to "meet" you!
ReplyDeleteIn the next year you will have done the following: Go to Bible School and visit the Holy Land. And, I'm sure we can even arrange for you to ride in a taxi, they are everywhere in Florida =) they aren't really all they're cut out to be haha. Can't wait for Aug/Sept. to come so we can meet.
