shooting

This weekend I had the opportunity to go shooting with my brother Tim and his best friend Sam (who just so happens to be my boyfriend). We shot the Smith & Wesson M&P .40 hand gun, Sam with the full-size and Tim with the compact model.

They practiced many different drills, some standing still, some moving side to side, others moving backwards. I was rather overwhelmed by how hard it looked, especially when I was having trouble shooting at a standstill from five yards!

They expended their ammunition quickly and had to go back to reload frequently. Sam was highly impressed by my knowledgeable firearm vocabulary when I referred to the bullets as “those little gold things.”

Tim expertly took over my kind of shooting to get the following shots:

  2. I heard from the range master that you're a pretty good shot!
Please tell me that none of the fellas said, "Now DON'T drop the gun!"
