When I looked in the fridge and saw half a lime, half a lemon, and half a grapefruit, I got an explosion of creative urge. And when my six-year-old sister saw me grab my camera and head outdoors with these items, she told me exactly what she thought:
“Hallie, you are so weird!”
Yeah, I know. But being weird is so much fun sometimes!
What better way to start a beautifully drizzly Saturday?
Not just starting the day though. Editing these pictures in all different ways while watching Kentucky Derby coverage, having the satisfaction of having accomplished a lot of homework and a good run, is pretty close to paradise.
I’m starting to crave lemonade!
Finally, my contribution to this week’s Scripture and a Snapshot.
Now I really need some lemonade.

GORGEOUS!!! I love them all, but especially the one shot from above with them lined up. Awesome colors. And your S&S entry is perfect timing as our sermon series is on fruits of the Spirit, plus I'm reading a book on it too!
ReplyDeleteI also tend to think that when someone tells you you're weird...at least as it pertains to photography...it's a good indicator that you're on to something great! ;)
I absolutely love this post! And that's a great Scripture & a Snapshot photo!
ReplyDeleteDon't you love photographing citrus?! (maybe it's weird, but I love it!) :)
